Julia Rosado is currently working towards her BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati, School of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. Working in a multitude of mediums and techniques, she creates a variety of work. She is currently employed at ADC Fine Art in Cincinnati, Ohio as the Gallery Administrator, spending her days in communication with artists from around the country and around the world, running the gallery internet presence, and assisting with the planning of multiple exhibitions. She was a juror and exhibitioner for Red Dot Miami as a part of Miami Art Basel in 2023, and has been a juror and curator for numerous exhibitions in Cincinnati.

Along with furthering her education, Rosado is growing her knowledge and experience around the art industry and art business through her work at ADC Fine Art. She spent the summer of 2024 working as an Exhibition Assistant at BBA Gallery in Berlin, Germany.

"My work explores the relationships between artists, as well as the divide between artists and the art industry. Through gaining more experience every day on both sides of art business, I’ve acquired a fascination with artists methodologies and how oppositional it feels to capitalistic, working methodologies. As artists, we generally crave ideas that are considered ‘socialistic’ in today’s society. In a world full of greed and hustle to survive, it seems to be more and more difficult for both artists and art businesses to come to a moral understanding. I aim to discuss the exploration of empathy between two sides of art business, understanding and combining the linear and non-linear thinking that goes into an artists career."
